How to use Favicons4Free

Step by Step Instructions

Choose your Icon

From one of the 31 categories on the right-hand side, choose an icon that you wish to use for your FavIcon.

Highlight and Copy the line of code displayed next to the icon (ensure that you copy all of it.)

For HTML

Paste the copied code into the top of your webpage(s) as below...

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.Favicons4Free/flags/icon_0023_16x16.ico">

Just below the

<head> statement - so that it looks like this.... <head> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.Favicons4Free/flags/icon_0023_16x16.ico">

Please note that the code that you insert will be different from the code above - unless you have chosen the same FavIcon as me; and that woud be freaky, wouldn't it?

Save your webpage.

You will need to do this on every webpage.

Once this is done and you have uploaded your webpages, you will need to refresh your browser and you favicon should appear.
