Free Favicons for your site

Favicons4Free was born when I was helping a friend spruce up their blog hosted on the popular Blogger platform.
One of the things that was letting the blog down was the Blogger Favicon that was displayed in the address bar of the browser and on the Firefox tab.
I quickly worked out how to edit the template to display an icon of our choice; we designed an icon and uploaded it to my webserver and refreshed the page. Lo and behold, we had a new favicon.
I couldn't help thinking that it was all a bit longwinded, though. Thus, Favicons4Free was born.

It's simple; all you have to do is choose an icon from our range of over 4,000 icons (sorted into 50 categories), copy one simple line of code and insert that into your Blogger template.
Step by Step Instructions
Choose your Icon
From one of the 31 categories on the right-hand side, choose an icon that you wish to use for your FavIcon.
Highlight and Copy the line of code displayed next to the icon (ensure that you copy all of it.)
Now choose the instructions for your blogging platform from the menu at the top of the screen.
